My 2007 Mustang GT/Saleen

I would like to start off by saying thank you for checking my car out. I have been building cars for myself for many years. I also work on others people's muscle cars/show cars and racecars and when you check out the pics on this site you will understand how fussy of a car builder I am.

This mustang is not a factory Saleen!!! I built this car to what I think a Saleen should be since you can't order one this way. This build was 1-1/2 years long and being it took such a long while to build I went crazy with my options. I ordered a 2007 premium Mustang GT windveil blue/dark gray interior with manual transmission. Then it all started. There are so many, many mods that I have done here, you will be doing lots of reading.

Complete authentic Saleen body kit with an aluminum hood, which is only available on an Extreme Saleen. Then I modified the rockers and door side skirts, that are to long from the factory (just look at other Saleens) and they go past the rear fender opening. Also, I have supported the front running lights in the bumper and adding stainless cap head screw mounting the radiator support cover to the grille that is loose from Saleen.

I used a Kenne Bell 2.6h water to air blower set up for 10 pounds of boost (with a built motor it can go to 23-24 boost). I added a custom tune from Livernois Motorsports and SCT Flash hand held 3 tuner. I upgraded to an 8 rib belt set-up (DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON 6 RIB YOU WILL BE SORRY) with Thump-rrr idlers and belt tensioner, (Peter you're the Best) so no more launching belts off!!!!

Bogart - one off wheels 3 piece extra thick to be driven on the street yet still very light in weight (Thank you Rich Bogart). The fronts are 4.5x15 SR M/T radials and the rears are 10x15 M/T drag radials with McGuard lug nuts. I put in a powdercoated 9 inch Currie rear end with 31 spline axles, 4.11 Motive gears, Strange center section, an Eaton True Trac with a 1350 billet yoke and yes the ABS is hooked up! 6 speed Tremec TR-6060 super snake shifter and boot with a Zoom 2.5 clutch. A Dynotech aluminum 3-1/2" driveshaft, BMR tubular control arms, cross member, frame connectors and everything front to back with Heim ends and anti-roll bar hammer-tone powdercoated. Steeda heavy-duty upper adjustable camber plates, Tokico -d spec front shocks with QA1s double adjustable rear shocks and Roush rear springs

A Red top Optima battery is mounted in the trunk. GT500 air pump is used as a spare tire. Saleen gauge pod with silver ultralite Autometer fuel/boost gauges. Rear custom made seat delete and power drivers seat tracks extended for a taller driver to fit in comfort. It also has a Saleen gas door, pedals and door stripes. Sequential rear tail light signals, Granatelli dual front line lock with Aerospace 4 piston calibers up front and Aerospace vented/drilled rotors on all corners.

1965-66 hipo mustang nameplates on fenders. Hand painted Taz's on fenders. Lay out on hood is 1969 mach 1 but its gloss silver to match saleen side door stripes. Korek Design in pa. was the shop to match the beautiful P3 windveil blue and had to tint the color by eye and do swatch spray outs so good luck if you think you can go to a local paint supply and get the correct color made to match!!!!! Head light splitters, signal side mirrors, 35% tinted windows, CJM Chassis added tow tabs for easy trailer hook-up on rear end and quick release behind front bumper license plate to winch car up if there ever is an issue. Kooks stainless headers and high flow cats with x-pipe and aluminum coated, Saleen rear exhaust modified and has double 2-1/2 outlets for flowwwwww.

Everything in this car is brand new!!!!! The car made an easy pass for my own head. It was 100 degrees out with 100% humidity and I did not power shift and did an easy launch. It went a 1.85 60ft and just touched 4 gear in the traps with a 12.19@114 mph. You just got to love the A/C on coming down the return road. So its an easy 11 second mustang. Full weight with me is 3790 pounds with 1/2 tank of gas and 3530 no driver with 52% on the front end.

This car is beautiful to look at and drives real nice with no issues and plenty of power!!!! At 9 pounds of boost in a 95 degree shop it dynoed at 440 HP with 427 torque at the rear wheels. Now it has 10 pounds of boost. I have built many nice cars mostly Pro Street and my last was a beautiful low 8 second Camaro, convertible Pro Street car that just went 7.87@173 mph with a 598 engine combo that me and the new owner Ray built and has chevy style heads (AFRs ) and 400 hit of spray and still street driven@3350 pounds so I thought I was done with it and built this mustang.

Now with my change of heart, I'm going back to my roots SMILEEEEEEEEE

Here is a shot just before an 11.68@119.42 run on 11/08/08 at a test & tune at ATCO Dragway. It had 10lb of boost and it hit a 1.68 60ft.
